Our Over & Under Shotgun pen is now available as a rollerball or fountain pen.  Inspired by the popular Over and Under combination rifle/shotgun, this pen will make the perfect gift for any hunter, sportsman, trap & skeet shooter or gun enthusiast.  This style shotgun is a favorite for hunting a wide variety of game, from deer to game birds.  The shooter can choose the barrel appropriate for the target.  All facets of this pen are big and impressive reproductions of the original.  They include a 12ga shotgun shell cap, a .30 caliber bullet style pen body, a shotgun clip.  This pen features a quality refill and a rose gold nib for the rollerball and large nib for the fountain pen style.

A shotgun shell or shotshell is a self-contained cartridge loaded with lead shot or a shotgun slug which is designed to be fired from a shotgun. Most shotgun shells are designed to be fired from a smooth bore barrel, but dedicated shotguns with rifled barrels may take a number of different rounds.

The .308 Winchester (pronounced: “three-oh-eight”) is a rimless bottlenecked rifle cartridge and is the commercial cartridge from which the 7.62×51mm NATO round was derived. The .308 Winchester was introduced in 1952, two years prior to the NATO adoption of the 7.62×51mm NATO T65. Winchester branded the cartridge and introduced it to the commercial hunting market as the .308 Winchester. Winchester’s Model 70 and Model 88 rifles were subsequently chambered for the new cartridge. Since then, the .308 Winchester has become the most popular short-action, big-game hunting cartridge worldwide. It is also commonly used for civilian target shooting, military sniping, and police sharpshooting. The relatively short case makes the .308 Winchester especially well adapted for short action rifles.
